"A Bright Affair"
( A quote and a poem, celebrating the book, Carrying Sand to the river on the Seed-symbol of the Self in a forever changing world)
We are transient flowers
in a silent symphony
of interconnected brilliance
Which is according to Emily Dickenson,
“ A bright affair”
We are swirling through the galaxy
Amid hundreds of galaxies
On a cold rocky planet
Orbited by numberless possible worlds
Each sparkling with
Hundreds of billion stars
A bright gift of chance
A miracle of nothingness
An infinite hovering
A shuddering
A shimmering
A glimmering
Forever suspended
In the absence of
What we are seeking
